Q. How long before my wedding should I be looking for my dress?
A. With many wedding dresses coming from designers around the world, it can take up to 6 months to order a dress. Our standard quotation is 14-16 weeks for delivery. It is always best to allow as much time as possible to find the perfect dress.
Q. My wedding is very soon but I haven't got my dress yet, what can I do?
A. Don't panic if your wedding is sooner than six months, many bridal shops now keep dresses to sell straight from stock, but choice will be more limited. Come and see our 'Straight from the rail' range.
Q. Why is it that wedding gowns are so small?
A. Most ordinary clothes in the high street shops fit a multitude of sizes, but this does not apply with most wedding dresses. This is because many wedding dresses are structured and therefore the fit is paramount, otherwise your dress will never look as good as it should on you, you normally will need to go up at least one size to fit into a wedding dress, as they are sized smaller than most dresses.
Q. What should I wear when I go looking for wedding dresses?
A. Try to wear a strapless bra and shoes with about the same heel height you want to wear on your wedding day. This will give you a better idea of how the dress should look. PLEASE DON'T WEAR BODY MAKE-UP or cream deodorants that could mark the dresses or you won’t be very popular.
