'Brides are being ripped of by shops.' This was the comment made by one internet supplier recently. This is a pathetic remark from people who make no investment in stock, premises or staff, and offer no service other than putting dresses in the post. Compare this with the time and service you would expect from a bricks and mortar shop. Lots of dresses to try on, professional advice when choosing your dress, fittings, alterations service, (wedding gowns are not easy to alter), and preparation of your dress (steaming and careful packing) for the big day.
Life isn't always about buying cheap. These cut price traders might be laughing all the way to the bank, but it could be at your expense when you receive absolutely no personal service whatsoever. Buying a wedding gown is totally unlike buying an ordinary dress. This is your big day and with many scandals unfolding and most top designers refusing to supply internet traders, are you getting such a bargain?
